Grant Guardian
Some thoughts on Grant Guardian and how it might be a boring and maybe effective use of AI

Grant Guardian describes itself as an AI-powered financial due diligence tool that streamlines the assessment process for both foundations and nonprofits.
I think in simple terms this means nonprofits can submit an existing financial document like their accounts and the foundation will get a risk report based on this, decreasing load on both foundation and nonprofit and reusing existing documents.
This is interesting to me. Much of the focus so far with Generative AI has been on using tools to generate applications which has caused a variety of problems from poor applications to application overload. This appears to be at the sweet spot of focusing on using pre-existing documents like accounts and annual reports in a better way. It's boring, and I wonder if that might be effective.
